- After the Yugoslavian war only one part of Mostar was rebuilt, mainly the Croatian part. That was also the case with the Spanish Square. A part of it was rebuilt, another part left like a ruin, devastated and abandoned. This work consists of painted shadows, sound of people laughing, talking, children playing, and scents derived from the national flowers of Croatia and Bosnia. It’s about the memory of the social past of forgotten, unused, destroyed and isolated spaces.
